Amanda O’Brien
Amanda O’Brien launched her successful career in digital publishing in 2016 when she created The Boutique Adventurer website. The Boutique Adventurer sought to close a gap in the travel publication market: older travellers who still sought adventure but wanted to finish their day with creature comforts like a high thread count on their sheets. Today, The Boutique Adventurer has more than 335,000 followers across its platforms.
Amanda has travelled extensively from her native Australia from the age of 11 and has now visited more than 80 countries and lived in three. Today she is based in London, United Kingdom.
During the pandemic Amanda leveraged her understanding of digital publishing and her passion for animals when she launched two new websites in the pet niche: The Discerning Cat and The Dog Snobs. Today both sites reach around 100,000 pet lovers a month. Amanda’s Siberian cats, Alexei and Vladimir, are very pleased with what they see as their successful website.
Amanda attends and presents at key travel events, such as World Travel Market and Traverse. She is also an active member of the blogging community and runs the London group for Mediavine.
