We highly recommend staying in the downtown area near Front Street so that you can easily walk to plenty of restaurants, bars, and entertainment in the area.
However, if you stay on the outskirts of Beaufort, we definitely recommend that you bring a car!
Having a car in the area is not only nice so that you can discover some of Beaufort’s incredible gems that aren’t right downtown but it’s also a great idea to bring a car so you are able to discover some of the nearby towns such as Morehead City, Atlantic Beach, and Emerald Isle!
