The Best Places to Eat and Drink in Jackson, Wyoming

Jackson, Wyoming has a special place in our hearts. Due to COVID our honeymoon to Italy got postponed so we decided to fly to Jackson, Wyoming instead! We had heard so many great things from friends and family members raving about all of the fantastic things to do in Wyoming and great places to eat. Due to Sam and I being so outdoorsy and loving adventure, Jackson seemed like such a great fit for us! We loved absolutely everything about Jackson and cannot wait to travel back there again! We tried some of the most incredible food during our tip and had to share a list of some of our favorites.

Pro Tip: Make sure you make reservations for dinner well in advance for your trip! These places book up super quickly so you’ll need to reserve your spot as soon as you start booking your flights and accommodations. Additionally, it’s important to check the restaurant websites to see if restaurants are open based off of the season. Many excursions and restaurants close down during the winter months!

Westbank Grill at the Four Seasons

We didn’t stay at the Four Seasons but heard endless good things about the Westbank Grill there. We booked our first night’s dinner there and loved it. We sat outside underneath some heaters and blankets! They have great options but our favorite part of the meal was the homemade s’mores for dessert!

Glorietta Trattoria

This was our second dinner in Jackson and it’s a quaint Italian restaurant with delicious homemade pasta. We split the cavatelli alla glorietta and it was phenomenal. Don’t forget to try the tiramisu or gelato, two of our favorite Italian desserts!

The Blue Lion

We had The Blue Lion for our third dinner in Wyoming. They have several different options to pick from including steaks, seafood, pasta, and more. Additionally, they have some great cocktails that you must try. One of our favorite parts of the meal was their baked brie en croute appetizer!

The Gun Barrel Steak and Game House

This is one of those meals that Sam still hasn’t stopped talking about! They have countless different game meat options to pick from. If you’re like me, they also have several “normal” options to pick from such as soups and salads, chicken breasts and steaks and so on! It’s definitely a must try when visiting Jackson and it has all the outdoorsy Wyoming vibes.

Snake River Grill

This was our absolute favorite dining experience in Jackson! This was our last dinner in Wyoming and couldn’t have been better. The service was exceptional from the time you walk in… they immediately handed us cocktail menus and took our drink order while we were waiting for our table. We highly recommend any of their specialty cocktails and their wood oven fired housemade focaccia. You can’t go wrong with any of their entrees and desserts as well.

Million Dollar Cowboy Bar

This is a must have when visiting Jackson! It’s located right in the center of Jackson where countless restaurants, bars, and shops are. They have great drinks and are known for their western vibes. Have a cold beer and sit on one of their many saddles bellied up to the bar! Additionally, they often have live music playing!

Snake River Brewing Co.

We had some drinks and lunch here one day! They had some great craft beer choices and delicious chili. We sat outside and loved being able to take in all the views. It’s a nice laid back place to grab good food and drinks.

Sidewinders American Grill

We went here for lunch one day and it did not disappoint. We tried their stuffed pretzel and french onion soup for appetizers followed by burgers for entrees. The meal was SO tasty and we loved being able to sit outside.

Pinky G’s Pizza

This is a great pizza joint located in the town square in Jackson. It’s location is great and it’s a nice place to go to if you are looking for a more casual lunch or dinner.

Pearl Street Bagels

We hit this place practically every morning before we headed out on our excursions, hikes, or road trips! It’s a fast but extremely tasty place to grab some fantastic bagels and coffee before hitting the road.

We highly recommend Jackson, Wyoming to everybody! Between the outdoor adventure, endless things to do, and phenomenal food… it’s a must have place on your bucket list!
